It's a Seaside Meetup! DIRECT Greece and DIRECT Florence Students Head to the Amalfi Coast

Although DIRECT Greece Session 1 and DIRECT Florence Session 1 were simultaneously coming to an end, many students were not ready to say goodbye. As a result of LeadAbroad hating to see our students go, we say hello to the Amalfi Coast add-on. This addition is a once in a lifetime experience where students from the DIRECT Greece program and the DIRECT Florence program meet by the coast for five days of fun.

DIRECT Greece students and DIRECT Florence students have been having a blast in their respective programs: making authentic pasta and tiramisu, tripping to Elia beach, boat days along the coast of Mykonos, day trips to Cinque Terre, and so many more memories. After completing valuable service opportunities, learning countless leadership lessons, and building lasting friendships, it is time for the two groups of students to integrate on one fun adventure. The Amalfi Coast add-on allows for multiple students to share their personal experiences with one another while making new, unique memories. While our students traipse around the coast, they will enjoy fine eats in Sorrento, explore Positano, enjoy an island tour of Capri, walk to the highest point of Anacapri, and so much more.

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful places on earth, having a breathtaking coastline, a rich cultural experience, and a unique blend of nature and history. These picturesque towns are perfect for people seeking a memorable and authentic Italian experience, just like our students. This trip was only made more special by the involvement of two programs: DIRECT Greece and DIRECT Florence.
