Our 2024 programs have officially been completed and we could not thank our students and staff more for the amazing summer we’ve had. Over 1,300 students joined us abroad and to say all of our expectations were surpassed would be an understatement. From incredible memories to thrilling adventures, our staff and students had the time of their lives and we cannot wait to do it all again next year (with some exciting new additions)!

DIRECT Florence was an absolute hit this year - so much so our team thought why not double the fun?! Our Florence students fell in love with the magic of the city - including its convenient location, allowing them to take day trips to nearby hotspots such as Rome, Pisa, Cinque Terre and more! Later on in the summer, many of our GO Rome students even spent their 3-day weekends traveling to Florence as well.
Whether you’re going to grab a panini or catch the sunset, you always pass the famous Florence Cathedral (Duomo) where you are struck by the pink, green and white marble. No wonder students are dying to see the city for themselves! Florence has so much to offer but our DIRECT program paired with it is the icing on the cake.
DIRECT programs are perfect for someone looking for a well-rounded study abroad experience! Everything LeadAbroad believes in is combined to make your time so powerful in just two weeks! A few days of adventure to push your comfort zone, a service project to shift your mindset from the epic instagrams to the needs all around us, mini life-lessons to help you discover your best self, freedom to explore, and incredible people from universities all over add up to the opportunity of a lifetime. Many students also participate in our Amalfi Coast add-on, allowing students to explore even MORE of Italy! Being able to visit cities like Sorrento, Capri, Positano and more is a Mediterranean dream come true.

An additional session to an already popular program is amazing news, but what if we told you we have a BRAND NEW LOCATION coming in 2025?! We’ve experienced such success running our GO Barcelona program and many students rave Spain as a whole. After our students and staff fell in love with the city, it was a no-brainer to launch a GO Madrid program!
Madrid captures the heart and soul of Spain with every moment - flavor, culture, happiness. Whether you’re dancing in the street or looking for the tapas bar of your dreams, Madrid has it all and is the perfect destination for students to get the Spanish summer they’re been dreaming of.
As part of our GO program structure, students will end their summer in July with 4 weeks of adventure and travel in Europe. Students will take 2 classes from Monday-Thursday in their home base of Madrid and have the opportunity to independently travel on their 3-day weekends to whichever destination they desire. Our team will remain in Madrid to provide support and community to all students through structured weekly activities from your bucket list. Such as cooking classes, tours of the Royal Palace and more!
Students will also have the chance to opt-in to our PRO-Track Internship in place of a class. If you’re looking for a combination of resume experience, class credit and study abroad - we invite you to learn more about our PRO-Track. While learning about professional development, students work with local companies in Madrid to gain client based experience.
