Process 

Overview
​

Welcome to the next steps in securing your spot abroad with LeadAbroad next summer! We have taken 1,000+ students from the University of Alabama all over the world since 2009 and look forward to that number getting even bigger this year.

All University of Alabama students are required to complete 2 additional steps to be officially accepted to their study abroad program. UA Education Abroad office requires all students to complete a brief online application with the university, to ensure you are in good standing, and submit a Home University Approval form to be signed by your EA advisor. Below you will find your next steps of how to make your summer plans official!

You have until September 30th, 2024 to secure your spot abroad next summer. It can take up to 3 - 4 business days to process each step. We recommend that you submit everything ASAP so you don’t risk losing your spot next summer.

 

Failure to complete the steps below will result in your priority being forfeited.

Your Important Next Steps for Acceptance
(Under 15 Mins):

Complete your LeadAbroad Application & Submit Deposit

Thank you for completing Step 1 of your application process! We are holding a spot for you next summer. Please complete Step 2 & 3 to make it official!

Submit your UA Education Abroad Online Application

Please take 10 - 15 minutes to complete your UA Education Abroad application on your program link below. Upon submitting this application, the EA office at UA will review your current standing at the university (GPA, check for conduct violations, etc.). You will need the following to complete the application:

Complete your Home University Approval Form (less than 1 min)

Once you have completed your online application, the EA office will need to sign off on your good standing for us to officially accept your application. We have moved this all to be done electronically to make this process easier for you!

Please complete the form linked below on Adobe Sign and click “Submit” to submit your form to the EA office and complete your application process. 

Once University of Alabama and LeadAbroad have reviewed your application and approved your acceptance, Savannah will send you a text & email with the exciting news!
