Join us for four weeks in South Africa on our flagship program. You will quickly realize why Cape Town is our staff’s favorite location. The action-packed itinerary is carefully curated to complement the transformative curriculum. Students tell us each week on LEAD Cape Town is better than the last. Weekly themes include leadership in the context of South African history and politics, experiential education, adventure, service-learning and reflection. You’ll receive six hours of academic credit from our academic partner, Oglethorpe University, while experiencing the highlights of a world-class city and discovering the best version of yourself.

GO Barcelona is an unforgettable way to spend your summer in one of the most amazing cities in the world. Whether you crave culture, history, shopping, nightlife or nature, Barcelona has it all. This program brings students from all over the U.S. to Spain for a 5-week study center experience through Oglethorpe University. Classes are available in culture, business, communications and art history. With a focus on independent travel, cultural excursions and unique personal development opportunities, your summer in Spain will be unforgettable. Our staff will show you the world-famous beaches, introduce you to our favorite Spanish tapas and make sure you get the most out of your time abroad.

LEAD Italy is a 4-week study abroad experience designed to balance travel, personal growth, and six credit hours focused on leadership, global citizenship, and civic engagement. Spend two weeks in Rome, living near the Vatican and exploring iconic sites, followed by two weeks in Florence. Spend your days immersing yourself in the art, culture, and culinary treasures of the Renaissance city. Between travel, cultural excursions, and opportunities for independent exploration, this program offers the perfect mix of structure and freedom to make the most of your Italian summer. Through local speakers, workshops, and cultural engagement activities, you'll discover Italy’s vibrant culture. Simultaneously, connect with your program group through daily shared experiences focused on building friendships within the program. Past students have worked on beautification projects, attended community events, and learned about sustainability from local leaders. You’ll leave Italy with countless memories, meaningful friendships, and a stronger foundation in leadership and personal vision.
