Overview
Global L.E.A.D. is an innovative, purpose-driven non-profit that focuses on three areas; educational advocacy, scholarship and social outreach. We believe that study abroad experiences are incredibly powerful and should be available to all students regardless of financial means. We also believe that international experiences should go beyond the traditional tourist locations. When students connect with local people, serve in the community and learn about a culture entirely different than their own, they come back transformed with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to impact their community.
To advocate for educational pursuits, we organize and promote conferences, seminars and other avenues to promote the ideals of Leadership, Education, Adventure and Diplomacy. In order to allow more students to travel and serve abroad, we provide merit and financial need based scholarships for LEAD mission-driven trips. And our social outreach means that we facilitate and finance sustainable development and social outreach projects in domestic and abroad communities.
By focusing on these three areas, Global L.E.A.D. believes we can change lives, impact communities and create a better world. We know the power of moments; those moments that inspire you to dream the impossible, give more than you knew you could and contemplate your life’s purpose. Our scholarships, service projects and educational events are uniquely designed to engage students wherever they are in life, expose them to new ideas and life-changing experiences and equip them with the tools to make a difference in their community and the world.
Our mission is not merely a plaque on the wall but integral to our unique company culture. Therefore, unlike other study abroad programs, we believe overseas experiences are only the beginning of the Global L.E.A.D. lifestyle.
