Nutella Pizza

If there’s one commonality across all of our programs that students love, it’s the FOOD in their country. Amerson is a junior at North Carolina State University, and after reading her blog, I’m ready to book my ticket to Greece and try LIVING!

Hi! My name is Amerson Webb and I go to North Carolina State University. The past two weeks have been filled with great food and awesome people! I cannot believe it is already time to move locations and the program is halfway over. Although it is hard to narrow it down to one restaurant being my favorite, LIVING would have to be at the top of my list.

LIVING is in walking distance of our hotel and has almost any type of food you could want. I have actually been twice while on this trip, and thought it was even better the second time if that is possible! My friends and I started with bread and spring rolls, which was to die for. Instead of normal butter, they served the bread with a sort of olive butter that was so flavorful I want to take some home with me. The first time I went I got the Greek Pizza, and the second time I got sweet and sour chicken, both being dishes I would recommend. On the greek pizza was feta and mozzarella cheeses, peppers, onions, and spices. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The sweet and sour chicken was a shot in the dark for me because normally I stick to more American food like pizza and cheeseburgers, but I thought I would be adventurous this time and I am glad I was. The chicken was served with grilled pineapple, peppers, and steamed rice. It was SO good! However, the best thing about the restaurant is the dessert. We ordered a nutella pizza and trust me, it tastes as amazing as it sounds. It is a pizza with nutella as the base, covered in sliced strawberries and bananas, honey, walnuts, and scoops of vanilla ice cream. It was probably the best desert I have ever eaten! The atmosphere is very cool and relaxing, and it is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance to stay in Glyfada!!
