From the first day we meet you on campus to the day you arrive home from your adventure abroad, you’ll have a personal advocate on your side. We understand you want to see and do it all during your time abroad. Therefore, we include many of the best activities and help you to check off other bucket list adventures as well. Maybe you need help planning a weekend trip to Paris? We’ll teach you how to book the train and the best hostel. Or you want to organize a sailing adventure? We have that covered too. Our goal is to make this summer the best summer of your life.
Triad staffing model
Our staff members are focused on our mission of leading transformational experiences. To deliver on our promise, we use an innovative staffing model that maximizes the student experience. First, our faculty mainly focus on the learning objectives and academic rigor and of their specific courses. Next, our LeadAbroad staff of program directors and assistants focus on risk management, tour and activities and mentoring students. Finally, our peer leaders and interns serve the important role of building community within the group through optional activities and leading by example. As graduates of the LeadAbroad program, these peer leaders are uniquely qualified to galvanize the group and ensure no student is left behind.
Though each role has it’s focus, the key to our staffing model is our collective desire to do whatever is required. Our culture of caring more than others think is wise fuels our desire to always go one step further. Past students will attest that our faculty, program directors and interns differentiate LeadAbroad from other programs.
Risk management preparedness
Safety is our number one priority at LeadAbroad. Our team takes a proactive approach to safety on all of our programs. Our thorough procedures focus on assessment, education, security, ongoing monitoring, emergency response and communication.
